Here's a video of the car starting after converting over to a late model "Fast Start" ignition system. Notice how it starts up immediately! The older ignition system did not do that. More info on this on the "Fast Start" page. First start of the morning at 49 degrees. 2MB Hot start-up with coolant temps in the 180's. Also note the hot idle oil pressure...in gear! 2.5MB Here's a cold start-up with the temps around 80 degrees. 810kb

These are demonstration video's of the SDFI in action on the bench. To look at this system actually switching under heavy engine loads download the "65-127mph" video from above or the "580HP dyno" video. It was working in those video's. More info available on this set-up is on the "Dual Fuel System" page.
Dual Fuel System
Bench Test Demo 1 - 17MB
Here is the SDFI in action while running on the car under slight load. The first video is a 5.1 Surround DVD quality as taken directly from my video camera. Dual Fuel System on car running and switching under load. 5.1 Surround Sound - 44MB (Right click and "Save Target As") Below is the same video as above but for 56k users. For some reason this compressed video has a glitch in the sound which makes it sound like the system stutters when it switches from low octane to high octane. You can hear the same glitch in some of the other videos I've listed. The full quality 44MB video does not have this. Download both and check it out for yourself. Dual Fuel System on car running and switching under load. - 5MB
On Road Testing: Here is a video of the SDFI switching under full throttle from a 50mph roll. You can see the two green LED's near the boost gauge light up at the exact time the system switches over. The first green LED near the 3psi mark on the boost gauge is when the second fuel pump turns on in the 116 tank. The other green LED near the 11psi mark is when the 116 octane injectors turns on. I have never had a engine skip, pop or stutter when it switches. in fact, I've NEVER felt it change over at all! This is why I put the green LED's in place...just to show me when it does!

This turbo is a double ball bearing with a three bolt .85 Precision turbine housing. The engine is a "stroker 109" or a 4.0L. Spooling up to 15psi foot braking it! Click Here 1MB Here is the turbo spooling up at 50mph. If you listen close enough you can hear the tires start to spin before I let off the throttle. 50 MPH Roll - 600KB 50 MPH Roll 5.1 Surround Sound - 5.2MB

This automatic dump cap was made with a stock Grand National wastegate actuator and a throttle body from a 4.6L Ford. It was pretty simple to build and cheap since it has a Ford part involved...lol. It doesn't flow the entire exhaust through this but it does allow the 2 to 3psi of exhaust backpressure my exhaust system has to escape under high boost. I have no idea how long the throttle will last when exposing it to such high temperatures. Time will let me know if and when it malfunctions. This video shows how it works off the car.
